CRM (Customer Relationship Management)¶
Track leads, manage deals through your sales pipeline, and handle customer relationships.
How the CRM Works¶
CrewStat CRM follows a structured sales flow:
Lead (prospect) → Convert to Deal → Customer + Contact + Deal → Quotation → Won → Project
- Leads are prospects — companies or people who show interest. You track them, make contact, and decide if they're a fit.
- When a lead is converted to a deal, it creates a Deal (the specific opportunity), a Customer (the company/person), and a Contact (the person) in one step.
- Deals move through pipeline stages (Qualification → Needs Analysis → Proposal → Negotiation → Final Review), while their status — Open, Won, or Lost — records the outcome (set with the Won/Lost buttons, not by dragging). Quotations live on deals — created from the deal detail, versioned, and sent to the customer.
- A won deal can be converted into a Project.
Entry points for creating a deal¶
| Situation | Where to start |
|---|---|
| New prospect you haven't worked with before | Leads → Convert to Deal — creates the customer, contact, and deal |
| Repeat business from an existing customer | Customer detail → ⋯ menu → Add Deal |
| Walk-in / referral with no lead record | Deals → + New Deal |
